Protective Respirator Mask

Safety has just launched a new Gas Mask, the 54400, and a new canister,
the North Model 40NBC Canister. These two new products designed to protect
early responders in non-IDLH atmospheres containing chemical agents, biological
agents and radioactive dust. Intended end users include Fire Fighters and
Police Officers, Emergency Medical Service Personnel, Hazardous Materials
Response Personnel and other Emergency Response Teams. The North 54400
Series Gas Mask has a 40mm threaded connector that accepts USA/Military,
EN and NATO type thread canisters. The North 54400 Gas Mask meets all of
the permeation requirements for US Military masks. The North Model 40NBC gas
mask canister meets the performance requirements of NATO and US Military
specification as a Chemical, Biological Canister (US Army C2A1).

Oral nasal cup reduces lens fogging and improves user
comfort by limiting re-
breathing of exhaled air.
Hard-coated polycarbonate lens provides excellent optics, over 200' field of
vision,
is scratch resistant
and meets ANSI standards for impact and penetration resistance.
Belt mounted carry bag is included to keep the mask within easy reach for donning
and storage.
Available in two overlapping sizes (small and regular) to comfortably fit most
adults.
